Upcoming Series – Living Life in Light of the End
When you watch a movie, knowing whether it’s a tragedy or has a happy ending can make all the difference. Competitive basketball players always have an eye on the shot clock and know where they are in the quarter in order to gauge their next move. And productivity experts encourage people to develop their priorities by beginning with the end in mind. Even still, most people live in the moment without any thought to what’s coming next. Next week we’ll begin a new series in 1 Thessalonians that paints a picture of the end toward which our world is moving and shows how this can bring hope and clarity to the way we live our lives today. Pray about someone you might invite!
Love on Lebanon
We say thanks again to our youth and their leaders for the wonderful message communicated through the wonderful drama presentation and music to help support the Beit El Safa Girls’ Home in Lebanon. We still have one last opportunity today to give towards the love offering. Mark your envelope “Girls’ Home.”

Parking Lot Construction Update
Full steam ahead! This week has been a busy one for our contractor as a steady stream of trucks has been bringing in gravel and taking away asphalt. We will be parking on the gravel for the next three to four Sundays while the various layers of stone are laid down and the curbing, sidewalks and lighting are installed. Following that, the asphalt will be laid and the landscaping completed. I know this has been an inconvenience for everyone but we appreciate your patience. We hope to have everything finished by July 30.
Children’s Summer Program
This summer, children aged 3-11 will be going on an exciting safari adventure at “ROAR!” Our theme is: “Life is wild … God is good!” The adventure will begin on Sunday, June 30 at 11:00 am. Parents are asked to please both drop their children off downstairs, as well as pick them up promptly after the service.
We are making available as posters, the banners from our past sermon series. Allow these biblical themes and Scriptures to minister to you where you live! The dimensions are 101 cm (39.7 in) x 156 cm (61.5 in). Click on the following link to see the selection and email Joeleen at email@example.com with the full title or verse that’s printed on the image. A suggest donation of $10 would be appreciated. https://tinyurl.com/y3ndrv44
A 74-year-old man who walks with a cane and doesn’t drive wants to attend our church and has asked whether there is anyone who can drive him. He lives at 125 Pugsley Avenue. If you think you might be able to pick him up, please contact the office at firstname.lastname@example.org.
