Christians and non-Christians alike often wrestle with the question: “Why the Cross?” Why is forgiveness from God necessary, and why does someone have to die? As we enter into Good Friday, we ponder the answer to these questions from Paul’s letter to the Romans—to show that the cross is both an expression of God’s justice and His great love.
