Today’s Worship

Today, Paul is continuing the series “How the Church Falls off the Rails” with a message from 1 Timothy 5:1-16 entitled, “Compassion Guided by Discernment.”

BELIEVE in Baptism as Your First Response to the Gospel

Our mission is to help people believe, connect, and share the grace of God in Jesus Christ.
One of the things we’re committed to helping people believe is baptism as your first response to the gospel.

Acts 8:12 says: “But when they believed Philip as he preached good news about the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.”

Baptism was never intended as a graduation ceremony for extra holy people. In Scripture, it’s the basic way that people respond when they understand the gospel message and put their trust in Jesus.
