Worship with us indoor at 9AM and 11AM, or online!

IN-PERSON SINGING RESUMED

York Region Public Health recommendations regarding the suspension of in-person singing due to the rapid spread of the Omicron variant have now been revoked, and so we will resume in-person congregational singing starting this Sunday (March 6, 2022).

TWO INDOOR SERVICES

We are pleased to welcome people for 2 social-distance-friendly indoor worship services.

We are offering two 1-hour services starting at 9 and 11 am. We are not, however, able to offer separate ministry for children or youth at this point. Because we will not have Junior Church or allow access to the basement or hallways during the service for feeding or changing for instance, children’s attendance will be at their parent’s discretion.

In order to continue to adhere to all Public Health guidelines and do everything we can to ensure people’s safety, the following measures will be in place and how our services will look:

  • seating blocks must be reserved in advance for either the 9 or 11 am service (Register here).

  • a greeter will check tickets at the Weldrick Road entrance for the 9 am service between 8:45 am and 9:15 am. There will be no access after 9:15 am.

  • a greeter will check tickets at the Weldrick Rd entrance for the 11 am service between 10:45 am and 11:15 am. There will be no access after 11:15 am.

  • hands must be sanitized when entering and leaving the building

  • a mask must be worn at all times while on the church property

  • there will be no distribution of bulletins, collection of offerings or serving of communion

  • there will be a simple live worship format with congregational singing allowed

  • preaching will be live but from behind a plexiglass barrier (in lieu of a mask)

  • people will be dismissed in rows immediately following the service

  • there will be no pre-service fellowship in the building, however, there will now be a designated  fellowship zone in the parking area directly adjacent to the church. We’re encouraging people from the 9 am service to stay afterward and people from the 11 am service to arrive early and enjoy fellowship with one another as weather permits

  • enhanced cleaning and sanitization protocols have been implemented. This will include our cleaning volunteers running a medical-grade sanitizing fogger through the entire main floor of the church to ensure that the air and all surfaces are free of contaminates in between the services.

HOME WORSHIP

Every Sunday morning at Home Worship, you will find the latest message, a worship playlist, Sunday School teaching for children, and a prayer outline. Just click “Home Worship” from any page on our site or subscribe to our YouTube channel.

Children

Although the pandemic prevents us from gathering for Sunday School, we are still committed to the spiritual growth of your children and want to support you as best we can. How we’re doing that is by taking Grace Kids online with a weekly video that includes a children’s worship song and Bible teaching.

OTHER WAYS WE ARE SEEKING TO BE THE CHURCH

Blogs and prayer guides continue to be sent out each week.

Life groups and prayer groups are gathering virtually by video conference. We are working to coordinate help between volunteers and those in need.

We ask everyone to make an extra effort to call one another and offer prayer and encouragement.

ONLINE GIVING

We rely on people’s ongoing financial commitment during this difficult time. To give online, go to https://www.gracebc.ca/give.

OFFICE CLOSED

The church office remains closed at this time. However, the staff remains accessible by email and any general inquiries should be made through the main church email address or phone number listed at the bottom of the page. Thank you for understanding and cooperation.
